This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit pagesparx.com, communicate with us, use our services, or authorize a PageSparx application to connect with a third-party platform such as Facebook or Instagram.
We may collect information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, business name, contact information, account information, project details, support requests, and other information you choose to provide.
When you use our website, we may receive technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, and similar diagnostic information. Our website may use cookies and analytics or site-experience tools, including Google-related services and Hotjar, as configured on the site.
When you choose to connect a PageSparx application to Facebook, Instagram, or another supported platform, we receive only the information and permissions that you authorize and that the platform makes available to our application. Depending on the integration, this may include basic profile information, business or Page identifiers and names, Pages you manage, linked professional accounts, access tokens, media or content selected for publishing, published post identifiers, publishing status, and information needed to maintain or troubleshoot the connection.
For the PageSparx Legal Publisher Meta integration, requested access may include the ability to identify Pages you manage, read Page information necessary to operate the integration, publish and manage Page posts, identify a linked Instagram professional account, and publish authorized Instagram content. PageSparx does not use these permissions to access unrelated personal information.
We use information to provide and operate our services; authenticate users and authorized business accounts; discover destinations that you are permitted to manage; create, schedule, publish, update, or remove content that you direct us to manage; maintain account connections; provide support; improve reliability and security; diagnose errors; prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and communicate with you about our services.
We do not sell personal information or data obtained through connected social-platform permissions. We may disclose information to service providers that help us host, secure, operate, analyze, or support our services; to a connected platform when needed to carry out an action you requested; when required by law or a valid legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of PageSparx, our clients, users, or others.
Third-party platforms, including Meta products such as Facebook and Instagram, process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
PageSparx does not ask you to provide your Facebook or Instagram password to PageSparx. Connections to supported platforms use the platform's authorization process. Access tokens or similar credentials may be stored as necessary to maintain an authorized connection and perform actions that you request. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect this information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Connected-platform credentials may expire or be removed when an integration is disconnected. Information that is no longer required may be deleted, de-identified, or retained only when required for a legitimate legal, security, or recordkeeping purpose.
You may revoke a connected platform's authorization through the applicable platform or disconnect an integration through PageSparx where that option is available. Revoking platform access may prevent future access but may not by itself remove information that was previously stored by PageSparx.
You may request deletion of data associated with a connected Facebook or Instagram authorization by following the instructions on our User Data Deletion page. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other treatment of personal information.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
PageSparx services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our business services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes may also be communicated through our website or directly to affected clients when appropriate.
